Adjusting to Married Life: Sharjeena’s Challenges with Mustafa

Mustafa reaches Sahrjeena’s house for dinner. Sharjeena’s father gives him advice to do some job. Sharjeena’s mother stops hi,. they focus on having dinner. Sharjeena’s family tries to stop her frm leaving after dinner however she says no to it. Mustafa keeps on looking at everyone. Mustafa brings her home. in car , he tells her that he has done it once for her , he should not expect that he will keep doing this everyday. Sharjeena excuses her self stating that she had to uphold the honour of the whole family. mustafa tells sharjeena that although he has got married emotionally , that does not mean that it will be like normal marriage. Sharjeena feels sad but she says that she gets it.

At IFtikhar’s house , Shagufta is not pleased that they ahd gone to the marriage. sharjeena understands her displeausre but does not comment on that. Iftikhar tries to humor her. Mustafa brings her luggage and goes to his room.

Sharjeena reaches her room. she find out that the whole room is messy. she gets annoyed. she starts arranging the things in the room. at washroom , she finds the whole washroom is wet and the items are not at place. she asks mustafa about the bathroom. how everything is messed up and nothing is properly placed. mustafa says make it neatly placed and starts drying his hair. they get into a smalla rguement about mustafa’s habit of keeping things unorganised. However , Mustafa is nonchalant about it.

Mustafa is busy playing game. She comes out of washroom and prepares for sleep. they fight about keeping the lights on. She could not sleep with sounds coming out of Mustafa’s computer. He does not pay any attention to her request.

At adeel’s office , his colleague comes out to discuss about his marriage to rubab. Adeel decides not to comment on that and shows his newly found place off to his colleague.

Moments of Bonding Amidst Chaos

Sharjeena is seen studying at her room when Shagufta comes and asks about Mustafa. She says that she does not know. Shagufta scolds her stating that since she is his wife , she should know about his whereabout since he is her husband. She tells sharjeena to make Mustafa understand that he should take some responsibility , just roaming around home will not bring the required money to spend in the family. Sharjeena retorts saying that it is the duty of parents to rear the son well.

At adeeel’s office , he gets the call from Rubab. Rubab asks where he has gone. Adeel says he is in office to work but thinks in his mind he is just enjoying the position he has received. He is making himself believe that he has got the position he deserved. Rubab tells him that her dad is leaving at evening hence they need to go to see her off and also they plan out the honeymoon trip to Europe.

Sharjeena is at her room when Sidra comes with tea. They discuss about the books on the shelf. She gets to understand how the extra things of everyone are inside Mustafa’s room. Sidra feels sorry about how sharjeena is brought to her in-law’s house. Sharjeena tells Sidra that this is the type of thing that happens on this kind of marriage. Sidra tells her that she knows that her mother’s behaviour is not good with her plus adeel was very close to her. so many things happened so suddenly that their mother don’t know how to react. Sharjeena reciprocates stating that she understands. She says that she did not have any choice. Sidra tells her that she is a very important part of their heart , their house.

Family Struggles and the Growing Bond Between Sidra and Sharjeena

Sidra goes to her mother to discuss about Adeel’s honeymoon. Apparently adeel has gone to Paris for honeymoon. Sidra complains that as if he has forgotten about them to which Shagufta says that who cared about him there in that house. Their father brought an outsider as an insider whereas threw the insider away. Sidra reiterates that Sharjeena is not an outsider. She is family. Shagufta keeps lamenting about adeel leaving and the fact that Adeel never wanted to leave. It was their father who forced him to leave.  He always wanted to have marriage with whole family. Shagufta is more worried about her son elaving rather than upholding sharjeena.

Sharjeena is seen organising room when her father calls. He tells her that he was trying to reach Mustafa but he was not answering. Sharjeena tells him that she will ask him to call when he comes back. Her father tells her that he has spoken to a place where he has organized a job for him. Mustafa comes back. She tells him to give him a call. Mustafa does not even know about his call. He is totally laid back about it. He is surprised to find that he has got 8 incoming calls from his in-law. He says jokingly whether he has taken any loan from him. Sharjeena reprimands stating that he should at least receive the calls received from elder , although he does not pick her calls up. Mustafa tells her that he was in gaming zone so he had to focus as ten thousand rupees were on bet.

Misbehaviour with Sharjeena & Mustafa’s laidback attitude

Sidra reminds Shagufta about the ritual that needs to be done. Shagufta needs to arrange for it because she will have to leave for her son’s vaccination. Shagufta tells her that she cannot do all these things alone. Sharjeena needs to start taking care of household works. The expenses have increased but the income has decreased. She also says that she is considering removing one household help from work since sharjeena is there to take care of all the work. Sidra tells her to speak with low voice.

Sharjeena sort of pressurises Mustafa to give a call to her father. Her father tells him about job he has spoken to. His father tries to reason him about the job in the company. Mustafa tells him that he is not in the mood to do the job. Sharjeena tries to reason with him however Mustafa ignores by acting as if he is calling a friend. Sharjeena leaves him at it.

She goes to Iftekhar. Iftekhar discusses about Mustafa’s B Sc results when Shagufta calls her in kitchen. She asks sharjeena to cook zafarani pulao , shammi kebab , korma , salan , raita and kheer. She starts taking whole responsibility of cooking in her hand. At dinner table , everyone praises her cooking. Shagufta creates a scene stating that her mouth is burning due to extremem spices.  Sharjeena brings water for her. Sidra cautions her mother. Shagufta decides to rather eat the food made in afternoon rather thane ating food made by Sharjeena. Everyone urges Sharjeena to sit with them to eat food to which sharjeena replies she will after rbing food for her mother -in-law. When sharjeena goes to kitchen . Iftekhar rebukes shagufta for her behaviour.

At  night , sharjeena is sitting alone with a book when Mustafa reaches home. He asks for food. Sharjeena tells him that she has kept food in Fridge. Mustafa opens the fridge but does not find any food. He starts pestering Sharjeena. Sharjeena goes to the kitchen and find food in fridge. They start having dinner together. Mustafa is all praises for Sharjeena. Sharjeena asks about food whether its spicy. Mustafa says its spicy and asks her to eat with him. Sharjeena says that she was worried about whether it was spicy , therefore she did not eat it. Mustafa comments looking at her style of eating food. She is using spoon to eat biriyani to which Mustafa says that she is burger kid like adeel. Sharjeena is not happy about him bringing up adeel. however she does not comment. he shows her how to eat with hands. they start enjoying their late night dinner party together.

The Drama with Biriyani

in the morning , Mustafa is seen with his bike. Irtekhar comes and gives him some money to take Sharjeena to a restaurant. the whole day she keeps getting scolded and it is his responsibility to take care of Sharjeena. they go to a posh restaurant. Sharjeena asks him about money to which Mustafa tells her that it is because his father has given him fifteen thousands rupees saying that Irtekhar suggested that she should be taken to highe dn restaurant than dhaba. Adeel reaches with Rubab. he finds sharjeena and mustafa having lunch together. Mustafa says hi to which he ignores. Mustafa gets happy seeing him with his sister-in-law. he decides to go to meet adeel when Both Adeel and Rubab leave. Mustafa complains to Sharjeena about Adeel’s indifference. she does not comment.

At kitchen , Shagufta calls Zubeida and shocked to find sharjeena has gone outside to eat food. Shagufta complains to Iftekhar about how he should encourage Mustafa to work rather than spending money on such useless things.

Adeel is driving the car when Rubab asks about his reaction. Adeel says that he is feeling sick hence he wants to have lunch at home. Rubab comments about Sharjeena’s look and wanted to see his reaction.

Sharjeena comes back and Shagufta stop her. she goes complaining how she and mustafa ate food last night and put the utensils in sink. shagufta starts complaining about the increasing cost and how the left over food could be used next day but here the scene was different. the whole food was over within a night. Mustafa is nonchalant about it. He jokes about increasing cost and goes to her room. Sharjeena keeps standing there and gets taunted about how she and her hsuband ate the food that she herself cooked.
